Macaroni Salad with Ham
Ingredients:
- Ham: 1 ½ lb
- Elbow macaroni: 1 lb
- Sweet pepper: 1 lb
- Tomatoes: 1 lb
- English Cucumber: 1
- Mayonnaise: 1 cup
- Thyme: 1 tablespoon
- Paprika: 1 tablespoon
- Dried Garlic: 1 tablespoon
- Black Pepper: 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper: 1 teaspoon
Instructions:
Cook the Macaroni:
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Add 1 lb of elbow macaroni.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 9 minutes.
- Rinse under cold water and let cool.
Prepare Vegetables and Ham:
- Chop tomatoes, cucumber, sweet peppers, and ham.
Mix Spices and Mayonnaise:
- Grind together thyme, paprika, dried garlic, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Mix with mayonnaise in a mixing bowl.
Combine Ingredients:
- Add Vegetables: Place the chopped cucumber, tomatoes, and sweet pepper into the mixing bowl with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Incorporate Pasta and Ham: Gently fold in the cooled pasta and chopped ham.
- Mix Thoroughly: Ensure all ingredients are well combined and evenly coated with the dressing.
