Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients:
- Chicken thighs – 3 ½ pounds
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Lime juice – ¼ cup
- Soy sauce – ¼ cup
- Rice vinegar – ¼ cup
- Potato starch – 1 tablespoon
- Fresh ginger – 1 tablespoon, minced
- Cayenne pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon (Optional)
Instructions:
- Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a 12-inch skillet.
- Turn on high heat and add cayenne pepper, stirring to prevent sticking.
- Add lime juice and fresh ginger, stirring until the meat releases water, about 10 minutes.
- Drain the liquid, then add soy sauce, potato starch, and sugar.
- Stir constantly for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
