Young Potatoes
Ingredients:
- Young gold potatoes – 3 lb
- Boiled water – 4 cups
- Fresh dill – a few sprigs
- Butter – 6 tablespoons
- Salt – ½ tablespoon
Instructions:
- Prepare Potatoes: Peel the young gold potatoes with a steak knife, wash them in cold water, and cut small potatoes into 4 pieces and large ones into 8 pieces.
- Cook Potatoes: Place the potatoes in a pot, add salt and boiled water. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Finish and Serve: Drain the water, add butter and minced fresh dill, cover the pot, and shake to mix thoroughly.
