Classic Scones
Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups
- Powdered sugar – ½ cup
- Raisins – ½ cup
- Sour cream – ½ cup
- Butter – 8 tablespoons, softened
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Baking powder – ½ tsp
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 395°F (200°C).
- Grind the butter with flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add powdered sugar, raisins, and sour cream to the mixture and mix well.
- Knead the dough for about 1 minute, then form it into a ball.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of ¾ -inch.
- Cut the dough into eight pieces and space them at least one inch apart on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
