Galushky with Lamb
For the Lamb:
- Instructions:
- Cut the lamb into pieces.
- Add your choice of spices.
- Fry in olive oil until cooked.
- Serve with parsley.
For the Galushky:
Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups + for dust
- Eggs – 4
- Onion – 2, chopped
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – 2 teaspoons (divided)
- Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
Instructions:
- Mix flour, eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, and turmeric to form a dough.
- Knead the dough and divide into 8 pieces; roll out and stretch into noodles.
- Cut noodles into ½ -inch lengths.
- Boil the noodles for 10 minutes, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat butter, add chopped onions, black pepper and 1 teaspoon salt, and sauté until golden.
- Mix the noodles with the fried onions.
