Teriyaki Chicken

  • Chicken thighs – 3 ½ pounds
  • Sugar – ¼ cup
  • Lime juice – ¼ cup
  • Soy sauce ¼ cup
  • Rice vinegar – ¼ cup
  • Potato starch – 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh ginger – 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Cayenne pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon (Optional)
  1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a 12-inch skillet.
  2. Turn on high heat and add cayenne pepper, stirring to prevent sticking.
  3. Add lime juice and fresh ginger, stirring until the meat releases water, about 10 minutes.
  4. Drain the liquid, then add soy sauce, potato starch, and sugar.
